Wattle and Daub was a type of construction using a
frame work of poles intertwined with branches and vines covered with
mud. Many Native American tribes who lived in the southeastern part
of North America built wattle and daub dwellings. The roofs of wattle
and daub homes had thatch roofs which shed the heavy rains in the area.
